Christmas is a time where there are many family traditions. We’ve all been talking about our family traditions that we want to share with you.

Michelle: So one that I can think of is there is a time when we can always be there. So whether we celebrate a week after Christmas or a couple days before, it doesn’t have to be on the day, but it is really special to me that we are all always there so we can see everyone.

Robert: One of the traditions we have that dates all the way back to the 1960’s when my gramma lived in Milwaukee is eating spam burgers and Aubry champaign over the holidays. So, don’t knock it til you try it. It’s a lot better than it sounds.

Stephen: One tradition our family started years ago is to to put an envelope on the tree for us kids. And this has now continued now that there are families and grand kids. And inside that envelope was $50 or $100, and it was our job to take that money and do something to bless others. Whether that was a backpack drive or a soup kitchen, or just giving that money to another family in need. That is our change to show others what this time is really about.

Trevore: And our family tends to give gifts of experiences instead of things – which don’t necessarily stick around. Whether it is a family trip together or we are going on to a sporting event of some kind. Just time together, building memories, means the most to us.
