Structure Determines Performance [Video]

by Financial Design Studio, Inc. / February 11, 2020

Our daughter Emma loves to build puzzles. Initially she would find random pieces and try to put them together. Then she progressed to looking at this picture and finding the ones that are similar had the same colors. Eventually she got around to learning to find those corner pieces that edgings and then building structure.

You know what? That’s true in our financial lives too. We can be accumulating savings without really any goals.

Ultimately, what we want is to have structure. You see we can have accounts and not know why we have them. We can have investments. But should we have more stocks and bonds? What’s the taxes should I set up?

Without that structure, we’re not gonna be moving forward. Ultimately structure determines performance.

If you don’t have a plan in place and want us to come alongside and build one out with you, please let us know we’re happy to do that.
